Imaginez… Vous venez de pénétrer dans l’Imprimerie Galerie. Vous portez un casque audio. Vous faites désormais partie d’un petit équipage improvisé, composé de 12 personnes, embarquant à bord de la boite noire Energy Mix L’expo expérience.
Vous êtes en immersion, plongé dans la pénombre, la magie du lieu. Des bruits étranges, des musiques mystérieuses se font entendre dans le creux de votre oreille. Le son des énergies. Votre regard est attiré par une source d’images qui jaillit dans le noir…
Des images qui vous plongent immédiatement au cœur des énergies. L’eau, tout d’abord, qui glisse à même le sol, courant à vos pieds en un torrent d’images et de sons. Puis, une autre énergie prend naissance un peu plus loin, sur un autre support. La circulation dans l’espace renforce l’expérience. Le parcours a été conçu par le scénographe et vidéaste Denis Defarges.
L’expérience se termine. Elle a duré 11 minutes. Un dernier sas de décompression se profile à l’extérieur de la boite noire. Il va vous permettre de mixer les énergies, à votre tour. Via une table de mixage tactile sur laquelle vous êtes invité à mêler les musiques et les sons créés pour Energy Mix L’expo expérience, par le musicien Luc Rebelles.
Une expérience qui se prolongera naturellement sur http://lexpoexperience.planete-energies.com, avec une table de mixage virtuelle permettant de poursuivre le mix énergétique.

When you enter the L’Imprimerie exhibition space, you will be given a headset and join 11 companions entering the shadowy black box that is Energy Mix — The Hands-On Experience.
As you move through the darkness, strange noises and mysterious music — the sounds of energy —fill your ears, while images materialize out of the dark to transport you into the world of energy.
First, water will run at your feet in a torrent of images and sounds, then another energy form will take shape using a different medium. The further you venture into the space designed by scenic artist and director Denis Defarges, the more intense the experience.
Energy will flow around and through you, Sounds and images will transport you to another place, creating disruption and dissonance along the way. As you make your way around the exhibition space, you will discover the various energies in their natural form — water, wind, sun, biomass, fossil fuels, geothermal and nuclear. Images of these energies will be evoked simultaneously using several media, such as a length of tulle for the wind or a shaft of light from the ceiling for the sun. Nothing is tangible, everything is suggested by sounds and images.
At the end of your visit, in the center of the black box, you will discover the most important energy of all — the energy inside you, human energy. The images will be projected onto you and your companions, transforming you into visual media and vectors of creative energy.
Your experience in the black box will last 11 minutes. Outside, a space to ease back into the real world, a place where you can create your own energy mix. Using the touchtable mixer, you will be able to mix music and samples created by French musician Luc Rebelles especially for Energy Mix — The Hands-On Experience. An online mixer allows you to keep mixing energies on the Planète Énergies Web site.
